In 2019 Major League Baseball started naming an All-MLB Team. Like all other MLB awards, the winners are voted on by media, former players, and baseball officials. Never a fan of awards being given based on the opinions of people, regardless of their voting qualifications, my list is based on the same data that I base all other rankings on this site. In most cases you’ll see the lists are similar and in some years identical. Like MLB’s official All-MLB Team, I will be listing two teams, first team and second team. Each team will consist of one catcher, one infielder at each position, three outfielders regardless of specific outfield position, one designated hitter, five starting pitchers, and two relief pitchers. To be eligible for any position hitters needed to have at least 350 plate appearance, starting pitchers needed to start at least 15 games, and relief pitchers needed to accumulate at least 30 innings pitched. For players that logged substantial time at multiple positions, they will be eligible for the position they logged the most time at.

If you think I’m wrong and the voting committee got it right, leave a comment and let me know why.
