1951 Sluggers Jimmie Foxx and Mel Ott are both elected to the Hall of Fame. Ott played his entire 22-year career with the New York Giants. He hit .304 scored 1,856 runs, hit 511 home runs, and drove in 1,860. Ott made the first 11 All-Star games ever played. Foxx, a nine time All-Star, was a lifetime .325 hitter with 534 home runs and 1,922 rbi. He spent most of his career with the Philadelphia Athletics and the Boston Red Sox.
